Isabelle was the first second generation Japanese Australian born in Castlemaine, Victoria, Australia. As soon as Isabelle could hold a pencil at the age of 5, she started drawing on everything. So much so, that her parents supplied her with paper so she would not draw on the walls, toilet paper, cereal boxes and newspapers. 

Since winning a youth art prize in 1980,  Isabelle has exhibited nationally and internationally, in particular in Japan, Italy and Spain. In addition, she is a live painting performer and has performed in Australia and Japan.  She is also an experienced qualified art teacher,  who runs visual art (painting, printmaking, drawing), Japanese calligraphy (Shodo) and painting (Sumi-e) workshops in Australia and Japan at galleries, schools, organisations and cultural events.

イザベルは、オーストラリアのビクトリア州キャッスルメインで生まれた、日系2世オーストラリア人初の人物です。5歳で鉛筆を持てるようになるとすぐに、彼女はあらゆるものに絵を描き始めました。あまりにひどかったので、両親は彼女が壁、トイレットペーパー、シリアルの箱、新聞紙に絵を描かないように紙を彼女に与えました。

1980年に青少年芸術賞を受賞して以来、イザベルは国内外、特に日本、イタリア、スペインで作品を発表してきました。また、ライブペインティングのパフォーマーでもあり、オーストラリアと日本でパフォーマンスを披露しています。また、経験豊富な資格を持った美術教師でもあり、オーストラリアと日本のギャラリー、学校、団体、文化イベントで、視覚芸術（絵画、版画、デッサン）、日本の書道（書道）、絵画（墨絵）のワークショップを開催しています。
